Is an A/C recharge always the answer?

A recharge may not address the cause of poor cooling. Have the system assessed so the recommendation fits the problem.

What if the engine is overheating?

Stop in a safe place and turn the engine off. Do not open a hot cooling system. Arrange assistance rather than continuing to drive an overheating vehicle.
